Bishop Fink

Ok, credit is due where credit is deserved....this past weekend we flew out to Colorado on Tyson's (our brother-in-law) buddy passes. For some reason, we were told that we have to do carry-on's only. Well, ladies and gentlemen, we packed for three people, for two and a half days in this bag:

Clap, clap, clap....thank you, thank you.... :-)

Now, the reason why we flew to Colorado for the second time this month: My dad was called to be the Bishop of the Colorado Springs 14th Ward (one of the two singles wards). I should say, my dad and mom were called since she had to be released from her calling in YW so she could become the "mother of the ward." :-) We were very grateful to be there for my dad's sustaining and set apart, but we--meaning my whole family--still finds it weird to hear "Bishop Fink!" I know he will do great and that both my mom and dad will love this calling!

My parents work in the singles ward, and my mom called to tell me how excited she was. THEN I got a call from Leah Woolley, also super excited "Guess what?!? President Fink is now Bishop fink.... in my ward!! This is totally awesome" I can't tell you how excited they both were. I know that he will do so great! I love that you support your family so much.. and I heard a rumor that you might be looking for a job in colorado... ??

Val, I am VERY impressed. I would have bet money that you could never fit YOUR stuff in there, much less the whole family's (you know I love you!).

Your parents will be awesome singles ward "mom and dad." Lucky ward!
