An Update

Isaac is back to his happy self, but still has a runny nose and cough. I think he's just going to have a runny nose for a long time due to teething, so what can you do? Taylor on the other hand has had a pretty miserable week--he started it with a double eye infection, then a head cold started, and then on Wednesday night one of his ears plugged up. It is now Saturday and it is still plugged. I feel so terrible for him! It has gone from frustrating, to painful, to irritating, to annoying, etc. It came on right before we went to bed on Wednesday night and after laying in bed until 1:30 he got up and tried to figure out what would make it pop--finally at 2 AM he drove to Wal-mart. He came home with some hydrogen peroxide and around 2:30 I hear, "Honey....honey...will you come pour this in my ear?" Needless to say, he laid on the couch until 4:30 or so and then came back to bed. Same thing happened Thursday night. I believe he actually fell asleep but his ear started throbbing and he was woken up at 1:30 again...at 2 AM he was off to Wal-mart again in search of some sort of ear relief drops. Last night was better--no trips to Wal-mart at least--but it STILL hasn't popped!! It seemed close today, but no. He has tried hydrogen peroxide, Dayquil, Sudafed, Tylenol, ear wax candles, ear drops, drinking lots of water, sitting in a steam filled room, but it just won't pop. :-(

Recently, I give Isaac a slice of an apple to naw on to make his gums feel better and he LOVES it. He goes to town with it.

And he loves to chew on his burp rags...weird...at least he doesn't spit up anymore.
