Earlier this week Taylor said we needed to get Isaac some baseball pants. So off we went to get baseball pants. And boy oh boy did he look cute in them!!
Isaac played so well. He was ready to catch, watching when to run, and fast!! He sure can run! As soon as we got home, he grabbed his tee, bat and ball and headed to the backyard to practice some more.
He is our little athlete! One of the best parts of the game was Beau watching from the sides and yelling, "Go Isaac, go!"
Another thing I want to remember from today... We were walking back to the car after the game with some friends and we had to cross a soccer field and go up a small, but fairly steep hill before getting to the parking lot. Isaac got to the top of the hill and saw his teammate at the bottom of the hill who was struggling to carry his "baseball/bat bag" and was subsequently dragging the bag behind him. Without any encouragement from us, Isaac noticed his teammate and ran down the hill and offered to carry his bag to the car for him. I was so touched by Isaac's kind gesture and that he thought of it all on his own. Love that boy!!! And I love watching him play sports and that he loves sports too!

I laughed because there are a bunch of cute little boys running around on a team called "giants." My last post is about us being "giants" here in Japan. So tell Isaac he's got something in common with his Lohmeier cousins :)
