Mother's Day

I know this was awhile ago...but I have to write about it. The weekend had started off with all of us being sick, but come Saturday afternoon we decided we were doing better and made the trek down to Salt Lake. We met up with one of my good friends from high school--Meredith--and went to dinner, it was great to catch up.

On Sunday, we went to church with Taylor's mom and I got the best Mother's Day gift...Isaac fell asleep on my shoulder during the entire Sunday School block! It was HEAVEN!! I love when he sleeps on me....ahhh....I just loved it.

Following church, we had a BBQ with Taylor's family. It was great to be with them! Here are some pictures from the weekend...they are few and all at the same time...but, oh well.

He occasionally does this next face and it is soooo funny. I tried to catch it on camera, but it doesn't quite capture the essence of the humor of it. He opens his mouth real wide and it is just so funny, I love it.
This was on our way home--it was about 7:30 and he was fussing, but I didn't want to give him his bottle too early--he normally goes down at 8. But, we decided to go ahead and feed him and if he stayed up longer than usually, so be it. But after just a few minutes, we looked back and this is what we saw! It was so cute!

This was Isaac's gift to me...so cute, huh?! They did it at daycare and I LOVE it!
